All Blacks VS Fiji Live NEW SKIPPER

Halfback Aaron Smith will be captaining the All Blacks on this particular night in his 98th Test match. Smith will have a memorable night as he leads the All Blacks side on the home track of the Highlanders. Ian Foster, All Blacks Head Coach, said that Aaron is an exceptional player who has actual mana. He is also a natural leader. His preparation is unmatched. He, his wife Teagan, and his wider family will be proud of the achievements he made.

All Blacks VS Fiji Live DEBUT FOR DE GROT

Ethan de Groot, a 22-year old prop, is set to make his Test debut on the bench. Ethan de Groot, a Gore-born brace, was a massive success for the Highlanders in their 2021 campaign. His hometown will support him should he make it onto the field on Saturday. All Blacks assistant coach John Plumtree revealed that de Groot joked with him earlier this week and said that the entire Gore team would be there for the game. He would love to be selected.

All Blacks VS Fiji Live HAKA v CIBI

The All Blacks haka will be held before kick-off when Cibi from Fiji is in action. This is one of the most spectacular spectacles in international sport. Last week, Dane Coles led an All Blacks haka. It will be interesting to see if Coles or Aaron Smith leads the pre-match challenge at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

The All Blacks won eight of their last eight Tests in Dunedin. Their final loss was against France in June 2009 (27-22). They have never lost at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

Vern Cotter, Fiji’s Head Coach, said that his team would not be fully fit after regular halfbacks Frank Lomani (Moses Sorovi) and the first five-eighths Teti Teti Tela couldn’t travel to New Zealand because of the closure of the Australian travel bubble. Tela, Lomani, and Sorovi are not available. Still, there are many familiar faces for New Zealand fans, with Nemani Naidolo wearing the 11 jerseys and Manasa Mateaele set to make his debut on the bench. Cotter stated that it was cold in Dunedin, but the sun is shining, and it’s dry. We will play Fijian rugby. We will play rugby that suits our abilities. We won’t play any other rugby. Instead, we will play our rugby.

Ian Foster, All Blacks Head Coach, discusses the 23 players who will face Fiji.
